Renee Baker is an African American woman violist, violinist, conductor, musical director and composer.

Renee Baker began her musical journey in the first grade, when she heard a string quartet at her school.

Baker took viola and violin lessons through her school music program, and was a member of the DC Youth Orchestra Program.
